Have you ever asked yourself, what Sunday's really mean to you and your family? Are Sunday's more then just a day off? A day of Relaxation or more work then work? Back in the day Sunday's were a day of gathering. Whether it was for religious purposes or a day for families to gather for Sunday dinner. As I was with my family on this Sunday afternoon, I wondered how many families in America still get together for Sunday diners? As if it's an early "THANKSGIVING" every Sunday. Growing up we are thought to set examples. I wonder if we as American"s still set the example of Sunday dinner? I am very grateful that my mother instilled this example. After all family is everything. Now, that is not to say that if no one get's together on Sunday for dinner that their not a close family. I'm not trying to offend anyone. Just curious how many families still get together and what is it means to them. So, I asked my son, who states, "I love being with my cousins. The boys are more like brothers and the girls well, they are just girls." with a laugh. The girls feel the same way. I am proud to know that they have such a sense of family and really love each other. During the summer months we BBQ, swim, play volleyball, anything to keeps us close as a family and knowing that all the cousins can grow up close and really know each other. I would to hear your thoughts and ideas. Maybe, some new family traditions can get started from your family to mine. I look forward to hearing about your Sunday- Fun Day.
